The contracts normally have a duration of 1 year and can be terminated upon a 30 days’ notice, as written in the contract.

Can I use the property even if I am using it for Short-term Rentals?

You can use the property whenever you need. We only ask the owners to inform us the dates they want their property not to be available for bookings.

Can I submit my property without having a legal short-term rental registration?

Yes. Trip2Portugal will legally register your property for you.

Are there any restrictions on the location of the property?

Trip2Portugal manages properties in any part of the country, however, there are certain areas in which new short-term rental registrations are no longer allowed.

What is the commission charged by Trip2Portugal?

The standard value is 25% of the value of the bookings, for the whole property management.

Is there an activation fee?

No. Trip2Portugal only charges when reservations are made.

On which platforms does Trip2Portugal lists its properties?

In addition to our website, Trip2Portugal listings are on the following channels: Airbnb, Tripadvisor, Expedia, Booking, VRBO / Homeaway and Escapadinhas Portuguesas.

Can I keep track of reservations and activity on my property?

Yes. Trip2Portugal provides the owner with access to our management channel, allowing you to see some booking details. Trip2Portugal also provides its owners with quarterly reports detailing the activity of the property during those months.

Are the cleaning costs of the property included in the commission charged by Trip2Portugal?


Do I need professional photographs of my property to submit it?

No. Trip2Portugal will carry out a photographic production of the property.
