Covid-19

Identified for the first time in December, 2019, in the city of Wuhan, China, Covid-19 is the name given by the World Health Organization to the disease caused by the new coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. The transmission can be direct – through close contact with infected people – or indirect – through contact with contaminated surfaces and objects. The disease incubation time (time from the exposure to the symptoms’ appearence) is estimated to be between 1 to 14 days.
